Recently, the industry standard “Hot-rolled Strips of Alloy Tool Steel with Medium-carbon” (No. T/CISA29-2022), in which Hengherda participated in the drafting, has been officially published. The standard was reviewed and approved by specialized technical experts for standardization, examined by the National Steel Standardization Technical Committee, and has been implemented since January 1, 2023.

This standard applies to hot-rolled strips of alloy tool steel with medium-carbon (hereinafter referred to as “Steel Strips”) with thicknesses ranging from 0.8mm to 12.0mm. It primarily specifies the classification, designation, ordering information, dimensions, shape, weight, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking, and quality documentation for the steel strips, thereby establishing a basis for production and acceptance across various sectors within the iron and steel industry.

The formulation, implementation, and official publication of “Hot-rolled Strips of Alloy Tool Steel with Medium-carbon” will provide strong technical support for the application of hot-rolled strips of alloy tool steel with medium-carbon, and promote the research and development, production, and promotion of hot-rolled steel plates and strips. By further specifying technical requirements, it helps downstream enterprises improve quality and efficiency, thereby facilitating industrial restructuring and optimization.
