The China National Light Industry Council has appraised the technology of the company's "R&D and Application of Key Technologies for Die-Cutting Steel" project as internationally leading.

Hengerda independently developed automated production lines for die-cutting tools and saw cutting tools.

>This production line for heavy-duty die-cutting tools well exceeded the early limit of processing only a single 2-meter profile per batch. The line can produce rolls of die-cutting steel and band saw cutting tools without welding. It helped to form a continuous operation, stable quality, complete automatic production line. Key Technology and Application of Bendable and High Strength Copper Rules Manufacturing proudly won second in Fujian Scientific and Technological Progress Award.

>The bi-metal band saw blade production line can run automated production and control. The products are finished with superior mechanical properties: high toughness, good tensile fatigue resistance, high abrasive resistance, and impact resistance.The company’s “High-Performance Bi-metal Bandsaw Blades” have been appraised by the China Machine Tool & Tool Builders' Association (CMTBA) as possessing an overall technological level that is internationally advanced.Multiple projects, including R&D and Application of High-End Bi-metal Sawing Materials and Forming Technology, have passed provincial and municipal-level scientific and technological certification.

Hengerda is a National High-Tech Enterprise focusing on technology innovation and R&D. It has established a “Postdoctoral Research Workstation” and a joint “Academician Expert Workstation” with Professor Pan Jiansheng, an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering from Shanghai Jiao Tong University. Furthermore, Hengerda has launched a specialized collaboration with Northwestern Polytechnical University on the “Performance Verification Technology for Planetary Roller Screw Dedicated Thread Grinding Equipment”, conducting numerous long-term collaborative R&D projects involving multiple disciplines. Boasting over 90 national invention patents, Hengerda is designated as a Provincial Intellectual Property Advantage Enterprise. Its core invention patents have been honored with the Fujian Scientific and Technological Progress Award and the Scientific and Technological Progress Award from the China National Light Industry Council.
Hengherda has established a “Provincial-Level Enterprise Technology Center”, boosting over 100 R&D professionals dedicated to pioneering innovations in new products, equipment, processes, and materials. The company actively undertakes numerous national, provincial, and municipal scientific initiatives, including STS (Science & Technology Service Network) projects and key regional R&D programs. Furthermore, it boasts top-tier R&D teams specializing in die-cutting tools, sawing tools, intelligent equipment, and machine elements.
Hengerda has co-founded the Putian High-End Equipment Industry Technology Research Institute and collaborates on multidisciplinary R&D initiatives with leading institutions including the Institute of Metal Research, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Beijing National Innovation Institute of Lightweight Ltd., Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Fujian University of Technology, and Putian University.
