On June 18, 2024, we got the good news that Hengerda's “High-performance Bi-metal Band Saw Blade” had successfully passed the advanced product appraisal and public notice by China Machine Tool & Tool Builders' Association (CMTBA). The appraisal committee believes that the product has independent intellectual property rights and the overall technological level has reached the internationally advanced level.

Previously, the China Machine Tool & Tool Builders' Association (CMTBA) visited Hengerda and presided over a product appraisal meeting for the “High-performance Bi-metal Band Saw Blade” developed by Hengerda.

At the meeting, the experts listened to the technical research report of the “High-performance Bi-metal Band Saw Blade” project, reviewed relevant supporting technical materials, conducted on-site inspections of the production site, and fully understood its advanced design concept and rigorous technical arguments, then gave their affirmation. All appraisal experts unanimously believed that the product had independent intellectual property rights and the overall technical level has reached the internationally advanced level.

The “High-performance Bi-metal Band Saw Blade” developed by Hengerda has strong stability, long lifetime, and comprehensive high performance taking into account the high wear resistance, red hardness and toughness of the teeth, as well as the high strength and toughness of the saw blade body. The independently developed key equipment for bi-metal band saw blade production—encompassing laser welding of dissimilar metals, milling, quenching, and tempering—has overcome technical challenges in heterogeneous metal bonding, precision milling, and heat treatment. This innovation significantly enhances product quality consistency and production efficiency.

In recent years, Hengerda has continuously strengthened its investment in independent research and development, gradually achieving an improvement in its market position in the field of metal new materials. This time, the “High-performance Bi-metal Band Saw Blade” product that participated in the appraisal has been granted 7 Chinese invention patents, and the product has achieved serial and scale production, receiving high praise in both domestic and foreign markets.
